Hausk\u00fcnstler Gerry Judah bekam den Auftrag eine gro\u00dfe Skulptur zu bauen, die er mit einem Formel-1-Weltmeister, einem Le-Mans-Sieger und dem Mille-Miglia-Triumphator von 1940 best\u00fcckte. BMW r\u00e4umte im Gegenzug das Depot und brachte mehr als 30 Rennwagen nach S\u00fcdengland. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Palette reichte vom 1940er Mille-Milgia-Sieger bis zum aktuellen M6 GT. Besonderes Highlight waren die Formel-1-Brabham, alle im vornehmen blau-wei\u00dfen Ornat des damaligen Sponsors Parmalat, und hier insbesondere der Brabham BT52-BMW, mit dem sich der Brasilianer Nelson Piquet als erster Turboweltmeister in die Annalen eingeschrieben hat. Aber es waren nicht nur die Weltmeister, sondern auch Klassiker wie der 3.0 CSL oder die 320i des  legend\u00e4ren Junior-Teams von 1977, das erstmals in den mittlerweile klassischen Farben der M-Abteilung antrat. So viele BMW-Rennfahrzeuge wie hier wurden nie zuvor bei einer Veranstaltung gezeigt.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"810\" height=\"535\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1113.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1007\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1113.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1113-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1113-768x507.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1113-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong><em>Der Lancia Rallye 037 tritt 1983 gegen die allradgetriebene Konkurrenz an: Dank des heroischen Einsatz von Walter R\u00f6hrl und Markku Al\u00e8n durchaus erfolgreich.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aber nicht nur die M\u00fcnchner wurden gefeiert: auch die legend\u00e4re Can-Am-Serie feierte Geburtstag. 50 Jahre ist es her, dass John Surtees auf Lola-T70-Chevrolet den Titel gewann. Danach dominierten die orangen McLaren, und die mussten erst nach 1972 das Szepter an die Turbo-Porsche weitergeben. Nach dem die Turbomonster gebannt waren, brach die Serie zusammen. Das zeigt sich an dem 1979er Hepworth-Chevrolet, einem Formel-5000-Rennwagen mit Prototypenkarosserie: h\u00e4sslichere Rennwagen gab es selten.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Diverse Can-Am-Boliden von Lola, McLaren, March und BRM waren am Start und Porsche hatte wieder den  \u00dcberturbo 917\/30 dabei, der Mark Donohue 1973 zum Champion machte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"810\" height=\"535\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1166.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1008\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1166.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1166-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1166-768x507.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/DSC_1166-120x80.jpg 120w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong><em>Sp\u00e4ter Sieger: Porsches 919 siegt 2016 in Le Mans in letzter Minute vor dem waidwunden Toyota TS050.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Angemerkt sei noch, dass McLaren seit 50 Jahren Grand-Prix-Rennen bestreitet, Mercedes den sensationellen W25-Stromlinien-Monoposto des Jahres 1936 zeigte und Renault eine stolze Palette von Rekordfahrzeugen auf die Piste brachte.
