Die Firma wurde in den 1950er Jahren gegr\u00fcndet und hatte ihren Schwerpunkt auf der Konstruktion und dem Bau von Rennwagen. Eines der erfolgreichsten Produkte von waren die Formel Vau Rennwagen, die in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren entwickelt wurden. Sie waren mit einem VW-Vierzylindermotor ausgestattet, der etwa 60 PS leistete, und erreichten Geschwindigkeiten von bis zu 140 km\/h. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der APAL Formel-Vau-Bausatz zum Preis von 375 englischen Pfund war absolut komplett bis zur letzten Schraube und Mutter. Lediglich Volkswagen-Teile m\u00fcssen besorgt werden, um das Auto rennfertig zu machen. Der Formel-V-Rennsport, der seinen Ursprung 1957&nbsp; in den USA hatte, eroberte in den 1960er Kontinentaleuropa im Sturm. Jedes nationale und internationale Renntreffen auf dem Kontinent hatte ein Formel-V-Rennen in seinem Programm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"810\" height=\"607\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2016-10-18-18.18.28-810x607.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11243\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2016-10-18-18.18.28-810x607.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2016-10-18-18.18.28-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2016-10-18-18.18.28-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/2016-10-18-18.18.28.jpg 875w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Karosserie der Wagens bestand aus vier leicht auseinander zu nehmenden Teilen und waren in sechs verschiedenen Farben lieferbar: Rot, Silbergrau, Gr\u00fcn, Weiss, Gelb und Blau. Das Fahrgestell war aus Vierkantrohren gefertigt. Die waren geschweisst und hartgel\u00f6tet. Es wog nur 30kg, insgesamt betrug das Fahrzeuggewicht 375 Kilogramm. Die Montage des VW-Aggregats war aufgrund der geniale Konstruktion des Kits besonders einfach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die belgischen Rennwagen waren erfolgreich und erzielten viele Siege und Platzierungen.
