Besonders das Abarth 209A Coup\u00e9 Boano von 1954 mit ausgepr\u00e4gten Schw\u00fcngen, reizvollen Details und kraftvoll-subtiler Zweifarbengrafik zeugte vom Reichtum des transatlantischen Zwiegespr\u00e4ches. Hier kn\u00fcpfte das \u00f6sterreichisch-deutsche Sportwagenprojekt Endora an: Auf eine entbl\u00e4tterte Corvette setzten die Macher eine Karosserie mit schwungvollem Heck, dunkelfarbigen Einlagen und teils verdeckten Hinterr\u00e4dern, die die Boano-Linien zeitgem\u00e4\u00df interpretiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von der amerikanischen Sportwagenikone blieb das &#8222;Greenhouse&#8220; \u00fcbrig, das sich perfekt in die neue Kunststoff-Karosserie einf\u00fcgte. Ein Antiblockiersystem sowie eine elektronische Traktionskontrolle waren ebenso Serie wie ein Active-Handling-System, das die Fahrdynamikzust\u00e4nde des SC-1 \u00fcberwachte und so auch bei sportlicherer Gangart ein H\u00f6chstma\u00df an Sicherheit bot. Hinter den auf Wunsch bis zu 20 (vorne) und 21 Zoll gro\u00dfen R\u00e4dern verrichteten gelochte Scheibenbremsen ihren Dienst. Zweistufig ausl\u00f6sende Fahrer-, Beifahrer- und Seiten-Airbags sch\u00fctzten die Passagiere im Fall der F\u00e4lle, eine Alarmanlage war ebenso serienm\u00e4\u00dfig an Bord wie ein schl\u00fcsselloses Zugangssystem mitsamt Starterknopf &#8211; genauso wie Tempomat und eine Klimaautomatik mit zwei Zonen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als Antrieb konnte einer von drei Aluminium-Achtzylindern gew\u00e4hlt werden: Das Basis-Aggregat hatte 6162 ccm Hubraum, leistete 437 PS bei 5900 U\/min und entwickelte ein Drehmoment von 575 Newtonmetern bei 4600 U\/min. Alternativ stand ein sieben Liter gro\u00dfer V8 zur Wahl, der 512 PS bei 6300 U\/min abgab, dessen Drehmoment von 637 Newtonmetern lag bei 4800 U\/min an. Topversion war ein von einem Kompressor unter Druck gesetzter 6,2 Liter-V8, der 647 PS bei 6500 U\/min aufwartete und mit einem enormen Drehmoment von 819 Nm bei l\u00e4ssigen 3.800 U\/min \u00fcberzeugte.
