August wird der Nu\u0308rburgring zur Zeitmaschine: Der Oldtimer-Grand-Prix pr\u00e4sentiert den Zuschauern zum Jubil\u00e4um ein prallvolles Programm. Vorkriegsrennwagen und Formel-1-Ikonen gehen ebenso auf die Strecke, wie die Tourenwagen aus DRM und DTM. Kleine Monoposto aus den Nachwuchsklassen der 50er sind ebenso am Start wie bullige Sportwagen und Prototypen, die mit Sound und Performance noch heute begeistern. Und in so manchem Lauf sind Fahrzeuge im Renneinsatz auf der Strecke zu sehen, die sonst wohl behu\u0308tet in privaten oder Museums-Sammlungen zu finden sind. Fu\u0308r viele Rennen melden die Organisatoren u\u0308berdies \u201eFull House\u201c \u2013 die Starterfelder sind oftmals bis auf den letzten Platz ausgebucht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Einen breiten Raum nimmt die Formel-Historie im Programm ein. Mit deutlich u\u0308ber 40 Nennungen sind die die Formel Junior-Fahrzeuge aus den Jahren vor 1963 am Start. Die etwas ju\u0308ngeren Nachwuchsformeln sind im AvD Historic Race Cup repr\u00e4sentiert. Hier werden u\u0308ber 30 Rennwagen aus Formel 2, Formel Ford und vergleichbaren Serien antreten, die zwischen Mitte der 70er- und Ende der 80er-Jahre ausgetragen wurden. Die Aufsteiger aus diesen Serien fanden sich dann etwa in den Cockpits der Formel 2 wieder. Historisch mindestens eine weitere Dekade zuru\u0308ck blickt eine Doppel-Rennserie, die ebenfalls von der britischen Insel zum Nu\u0308rburgring kommt: Die HGPCA (fu\u0308r \u201eHistoric Grand Prix Cars Association\u201c) wartet mit fast 50 Rennwagen der Formel-1-Vor- und  auf. Am Samstag tragen die Heckmotor- und Frontmotor-Starterfelder jeweils ein getrenntes Rennen aus, um sich dann beim zweiten Lauf am Sonntag zu einem einzigen Riesenfeld zu vereinen: die legend\u00e4ren Frontmotor-Maserati 250 F, der Ferrari 246 Dino und andere Grand-Prix-Ikonen sto\u00dfen dann auf die fru\u0308hen Formel-1-Rennwagen von Cooper, Lotus, Brabham und Co. Zu den H\u00f6hepunkten fu\u0308r viele Besucher du\u0308rfte dabei das Rennen der \u201eGoldenen \u00c4ra der Tourenwagen\u201c geh\u00f6ren, in dem auch eine Reihe alter Haudegen mitmischt: Harald Grohs, Kris Nissen und Olaf Manthey pilotieren etwa jeweils einen<br>BMW E30 M3, Roland Asch und sein Sohn Sebastian sitzen in Ford Sierra und Mercedes-Benz 190 Evo 1. Auch Ex-DTM-Pilot Volker Schneider f\u00e4hrt einen der Sierra, w\u00e4hrend Kurt Thiim im Volvo 240 GRA an den Start rollt. Natu\u0308rlich finden sich unter den fast 60 Rennwagen auch Audi, Alfa Romeo, Opel und andere unvergessene Modelle, die die gro\u00dfe Zeit der DTM ab den 80-ern pr\u00e4gten. Ein Spektakel wird auch das DRM-Revival mit einem riesigen Starterfeld voller bemerkenswerter Fahrzeuge werden: Gruppe-5-Boliden, wie die legend\u00e4ren Ford Turbo-Capris, Porsche 935 K3 oder BMW 320 Turbo werden das Feld der vier Dutzend Fahrzeuge aus der legend\u00e4ren Deutschen Rennsport-Meisterschaft anfu\u0308hren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legend\u00e4re Fahrzeuge werden den Besuchern beim Oldtimer-Grand-Prix nicht nur auf der Rennstrecke begegnen. Im Infield in der Mercedes-Arena zeigen Markenclubs etwa ihre Porsche, Maserati und Ferrari. Im Grand-Prix- Fahrerlager wartet neben den Fahrzeugen aus allen Rennen des Wochenendes auch das gro\u00dfe Festzelt, das fu\u0308r Fahrer, Fans und Funktion\u00e4re als Treffpunkt dienen wird.
