Das Projekt wurde in der\u00a0 N\u00e4he von Mount Lyford entworfen und entwickelt. Das dort angesiedelte Firmengel\u00e4nde umfasst drei Teststrecken und die Produktion. Zun\u00e4chst erfolgten einige Installationsrunden und ein Systemcheck, bevor der Wagen auf die Strecke ging, um die ersten Entwicklungskilometer zu absolvieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Closed-Cockpit-Hypercar will eine neue Dimension von Leistung und Dynamik bieten und konkurriert mit \u00e4hnlichen Konzepten von Aston Martin, Gordon Murray Automotive und Mercedes-AMG. Der FZERO wird von einem Vier-Liter-V10-Motor mit Doppelturboaufladung angetrieben. Der Motor mit der Bezeichnung RC.TEN entwickelt 1013 PS bei 9500 Umdrehungen pro Minute und soll den FZERO auf eine H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von 360 km\/h bringen. Eine Version des Aggregats mit Saugmotor befindet sich derzeit in der Entwicklung. Nachdem zwei Motor-Prototypen in Gro\u00dfbritannien bei Neil Brown Engineering gebaut wurden, ist die Entwicklung und Herstellung nun bei Rodin Cars angesiedelt. Beabsichtigt ist, das Triebwerk in Zukunft auch f\u00fcr die Nutzung im Motorsport anzubieten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Firmenchef David Dicker sa\u00df bei der ersten Ausfahrt selbst am Steuer: &#8222;Es liegt zwar noch ein langer Weg der Erprobung und Entwicklung vor uns. Der Test verlief sehr gut und wir konnten unser Programm durcharbeiten.
