Das Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles zeigt in der Ausstellung, die am 30. M\u00e4rz er\u00f6ffnet wird, Konzeptautos und Kunst von renommierten K\u00fcnstlern. Die Ausstellung erforscht die \u00dcberschneidung von Kunst, automobiler Umwelt und automobiler Innovation anhand einer kuratierten Auswahl von Studien und Kunstwerken ber\u00fchmter K\u00fcnstler, darunter Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol und David Hockney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Arbeiten der K\u00fcnstler und Designer zeigen phantasievolle Kreationen, in denen die automobile Umgebung und das Auto selbst von banalen Aspekten des t\u00e4glichen Lebens in Objekte des Staunens und der Sch\u00f6nheit verwandelt werden. Die Ausstellung ist in f\u00fcnf Bereiche unterteilt: Fahrzeugkonzepte, Zeichensprache, an der Tankstelle, Autobahnen und Stra\u00dfenkunst<\/strong><\/em>. In der Abteilung Fahrzeugkonzepte<\/em> <\/strong>werden seltene, phantastische Konzeptfahrzeuge aus den 1930er und 1950er Jahren gezeigt, w\u00e4hrend in der Abteilung Zeichensprache<\/strong><\/em> die von zeitgen\u00f6ssischen K\u00fcnstlern interpretierte Stra\u00dfenbeschilderung auf den Stra\u00dfen der USA zu sehen ist. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Der Bereich \u201eAn der Zapfs\u00e4ule\u201c<\/em><\/strong> konzentriert sich auf Kunstwerke des Pop-Art-Ikonographen Ruscha und des K\u00fcnstlers Vik Muniz, w\u00e4hrend der Bereich \u201eStra\u00dfenkunst\u201c<\/em><\/strong> Arbeiten von Mr. Brainwash, Steve O’Loughlins \u201eFreeway Box\u201c, die eigens f\u00fcr die Ausstellung geschaffen wurde, und Larry Yusts \u201eThird Street\u201c, die Yusts charakteristische fotografische Erhebungsmethode zeigt, pr\u00e4sentiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zu den ausgestellten Fahrzeugen geh\u00f6ren der Buckminster Fullers Dymaxion von 1934, der Astra-Gnome von 1956 American Motors, der Ghia Gilda von 1955 und der Chevrolet Astro III von 1969. Die Besucher werden auch bemerkenswerte Kunstwerke bewundern k\u00f6nnen, darunter Hockneys \u201eMulholland Drive\u201c (1986), Warhols \u201eMobil Gas\u201c (1985) und Ruschas \u201eStandard Station\u201c (1966).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
