Zum 1. Januar 1982 f\u00fchrte die FISA neue Fahrzeugklassen ein, was auch bei Alfa Romeo zu neuen \u00dcberlegungen f\u00fchrte. In der Folge entstand ein Gruppe B-Prototyp auf Basis des Alfa Romeo Alfasud Sprint f\u00fcr die Rallye-WM.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das zweisitzige Sportcoup\u00e9 entstand auf der Basis des Alfasud Sprint dessen Spitzenmotorisierung ein 1,5 Liter gro\u00dfer Boxermotor mit 94 PS Leistung war, der die Vorderr\u00e4der antrieb. Auf dieser Basis konstruierte Autodelta einen Mittelmotorsportwagen, vor dessen Hinterachse der V6 aus dem Alfa Romeo GTV6 arbeitete. Auch die Karosserie wurde modifiziert. F\u00fcr das gr\u00f6\u00dfere Reifenformat der Dimension&nbsp; 205\/50VR15 verbreiterte man die Kotfl\u00fcgel, zudem wurden die Sto\u00dfstangen und die Heckklappe ge\u00e4ndert, die nun einen B\u00fcrzel als Heckspoiler trug.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zwei Versionen des 990 Kilogramm schweren Sprint 6C entstanden, die sich sowohl au\u00dfen als auch innen unterscheiden. F\u00fcr die Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit im Rallye-Sport fehlte jedoch ein Allradantrieb. Zudem h\u00e4tten f\u00fcr eine Homologation innerhalb von zw\u00f6lf Monaten 200 Exemplare entstehen m\u00fcssen.
