Hingegen ist die Basis der Ferrari 312P mit der Chassis-Nummer 0868, welcher mit Mario Andretti und Chris Amon bei den 12 Stunden von Sebring 1969 den zweiten Platz belegte. Danach folgte der vierte Platz in Brands Hatch bevor der Wagen in Monza verunfallte. Danach wurde der Wagen nicht mehr repariert und stattdessen als Grundlage f\u00fcr das Pininfarina-Projekt verwendet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Filippo Sapinos Design des nun Ferrari 512S \u201eSpeciale\u201c genannten Wagens zeigt dramatische, betont lineare Formen, das Cockpit ist f\u00fcr drei Personen. Die revolution\u00e4re Keilform stellt eine Abkehr von der traditionellen Ferrari-\u00c4sthetik dar. Der Name \u201e512S\u201c sorgt insofern f\u00fcr Verwirrung, da sich unter der Motorhaube kein F\u00fcnfliter-V12-Motor befand.
