W\u00e4hrend bislang insgesamt 200 Exemplare des Basisfahrzeugs gefertigt werden m\u00fcssen, reichen nun zehn. Gedacht ist, dass dadurch auch finanziell weniger potente Wettbewerber die Chance haben, konkurrenzf\u00e4hige Rallyeautos zu bauen. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das ist nat\u00fcrlich eine Illusion, weil die beteiligten Werke technisch und finanziell alles in die Waagschale werfen, um erfolgreich zu sein.  Die Audi-Sportabteilung beginnt 1985, einen ma\u00dfgeschneiderten Mittelmotor-wagen mit Gitterrohrrahmen, Kunststoffkarosserie und Vierventilturbo aufzubauen. Das 2144 cm\u00b3 gro\u00dfe Aggregat leistet 500 PS und treibt das Coup\u00e9 auf bis zu 280 Stundenkilometer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zum Einsatz kommt es indes nicht.
