Ein v\u00f6llig neuer V8-Hybrid-Antriebsstrang mit 1.258 PS und 728 Nm Drehmoment produziert die h\u00f6chste jemals von McLaren erreichte Leistung. Davon steuert der v\u00f6llig neue MHP-8 V8-Verbrennungsmotor 916 PS, was 230 PS pro Liter entspricht, und dreht bis zu 9.200 Umdrehungen pro Minute. Das E-Modul, das Elektromotor und Steuereinheit integriert, um Gewicht zu sparen und das Packaging zu optimieren, stellt weitere 342 PS bei. Durch Leichtbauweise betr\u00e4gt das Fahrzeuggewicht nur 1400 Kilogramm, was das Leistungsgewicht auf extreme 1,12 PS je Kilogramm steigen l\u00e4\u00dft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von der Formel 1 inspiriert ist die Ground-Effect-Aerodynamik. Damit sinkt die Fahrzeugh\u00f6he vorne um 3,7 Zentimeter und hinten um 1,8 Zentimeter ab und erzeugt einen Abtrieb von bis zu 1000 Kilogramm. Zus\u00e4tzliche Unterst\u00fctzung Gef\u00e4hrt die Downforce durch einen neuen und patentierten \u201eLong Tail\u201c-Heckfl\u00fcgel, der sich um 30 Zentimetern nach hinten erstreckt. Das Kohlefaser-Monocoque ist f\u00fcr aerodynamische Leistung optimiert und wurden mit Motorsporttechniken konstruiert. Das alles macht den neuen W1 zum schnellsten stra\u00dfenzugelassenen McLaren aller Zeiten. Der Gangwechsel erfolgt \u00fcber ein neues 8-Gang-Getriebe mit E-Reverse, gekoppelt mit einem hydraulischen elektronischen Differenzial. Auch die Vorderradaufh\u00e4ngung ist von der Formel 1 inspiriert und die wichtigsten Komponenten sind zur Gewichtsoptimierung in 3D gedruckt, einschlie\u00dflich der Verwendung von Titankomponenten. Die Sitze sind direkt in das Aerocell-Monocoque integriert und sorgen so f\u00fcr die optimale Verbindung zwischen Fahrer und Fahrzeug.
