Das innovative Konzept feierte die R\u00fcckkehr der Roadster und der offenen Sportwagen, bei denen die die reine Freude am Fahren im Vordergrund steht. Vor dem Beifahrer befindet sich ein Display in Lenkradform, das diverse Funktionen bietet. In den Seitenbereichen befinden sich Bedienfelder, die mittels passender Codes in Funktion genommen werden k\u00f6nnen. Sie geben Auskunft \u00fcber Motor\u00f6lstand, K\u00fchlmittel, Bremsfl\u00fcssigkeit und Temperatur. Ein hydraulischer Wagenheber und eine 12-V-Steckdose befinden sich ebenfalls auf der rechten Seite. Auf der linken Seite befinden sich ein abnehmbarer elektrischer Schraubenzieher, eine elektrische Taschenlampe, ein Kompressor zum Aufpumpen der Reifen und ein Feuerl\u00f6scher. Der Zugang zum Auto erfolgte konventionell durch das \u00d6ffnen der T\u00fcren, w\u00e4hrend gleichzeitig Teilen des Cockpits angehoben wurden. In der Kevlar-Karosserie war im Heck ein aufgeladener F\u00fcnfzylinder-2,5-Liter-Audi-Motor montiert, der alle vier R\u00e4der antrieb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Konzept war zun\u00e4chst als reines Ausstellungsst\u00fcck gedacht. Aber seine Geschichte sollte eine Fortsetzung erfahren: ein japanischer Industrieller war vom Aussehen des Aztec begeistert und kaufte die Produktionsrechte. Jedes Auto der auf 50 Exemplare geplanten Serie war identisch mit dem Konzept und kostete etwa 750.000 Dollar.
