Der Brabham BT8 mag hier als Beispiel dienen. Er war eine Weiterentwicklung des zweisitzigen BT5, der wiederum auf dem erfolgreichen Formel-Junior-Einsitzer des Unternehmens basierte. Diese sorgte f\u00fcr eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfige Gewichtsverteilung und ein ausgewogenes Handling. Den K\u00e4ufern standen mehrere Motoren zur Verf\u00fcgung, darunter 2,0-, 2,5- und 2,7-Liter-Doppelnockenwellenmotoren von Coventry Climax, von denen der letztere 250 PS leistete. Auch ein 240-PS-V8 von BRM (British Racing Motors) war im Angebot.
