Die Premiere des ersten funktionsf\u00e4higen Prototyps markiert den \u00dcbergang von der Forschung in den Praxistest. Ein Peugeot E-3008 auf der STLA Medium-Plattform dient als Demonstrationsfahrzeug und bringt eine neue Architektur auf die Stra\u00dfe, die Batterie, Ladeger\u00e4t und Wechselrichter zu einer einzigen Einheit verschmilzt. Diese Integration ver\u00e4ndert nicht nur das Fahrzeugdesign, sondern setzt auch neue Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be f\u00fcr Effizienz, Gewicht und Wartungsfreundlichkeit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IBIS wurde als franz\u00f6sisches Forschungsprojekt mit Unterst\u00fctzung f\u00fchrender Universit\u00e4ten und Forschungseinrichtungen entwickelt und ist Teil der nationalen Innovationsstrategie \u201eFrance 2030\u201c. Ziel ist es, die Energieumwandlung nachhaltiger, kosteng\u00fcnstiger und flexibler zu gestalten. Technisch basiert IBIS auf der konsequenten Integration von Lade- und Inverterfunktionen direkt in die Batterie. Damit wird elektrische Energie ohne Umwege an Motor, Bordnetz oder Nebenaggregate geliefert, unabh\u00e4ngig von der zugrundeliegenden Batterietechnologie. Hinzu kommt eine Gewichtsreduzierung von rund 40 Kilogramm und ein Platzgewinn von 17 Litern, was Aerodynamik und Designfreiheit verbessert. Auch beim Laden punktet IBIS: Erste Tests zeigen eine Verk\u00fcrzung der Ladezeit um 15 Prozent und eine Energieeinsparung von rund zehn Prozent. Der Verzicht auf separate Lade- und Invertermodule vereinfacht zudem Wartung und Instandhaltung. Besonders relevant ist der Vorteil f\u00fcr Second-Life-Anwendungen: Batterien lassen sich mit IBIS leichter in station\u00e4ren Energiespeichern weiterverwenden, da eine aufwendige \u00dcberholung entf\u00e4llt.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seit 2022 l\u00e4uft ein station\u00e4rer Demonstrator erfolgreich im Praxiseinsatz und hat bereits zahlreiche Patente hervorgebracht. Der Schritt zum mobilen Einsatz gilt daher als logische Weiterentwicklung. Neben Stellantis und Saft sind E2-CAD, Sherpa Engineering sowie f\u00fchrende Forschungsinstitute wie CNRS, Universit\u00e9 Paris-Saclay, CentraleSup\u00e9lec und das Institut Lafayette beteiligt. Insgesamt arbeiten rund 25 Ingenieure und Forscher an dem Projekt, das durch Frankreichs \u201eFuture Investment Plan\u201c gef\u00f6rdert wird und von der Agentur ADEME betreut wird.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mit Beginn der zweiten Projektphase im Juni 2025 steht nun der Stra\u00dfentest im Mittelpunkt. Ziel ist die Vorbereitung einer m\u00f6glichen Serienintegration bis Ende des Jahrzehnts. Dabei geht der Anspruch \u00fcber die Automobilbranche hinaus: Die IBIS-Architektur k\u00f6nnte ebenso in Schienenfahrzeugen, Schiffen, Flugzeugen oder Rechenzentren Anwendung finden. Die beteiligten Partner sehen darin eine skalierbare L\u00f6sung, die langfristig Kosten senkt und neue Flexibilit\u00e4t schafft. Stellantis-Technikchef Ned Curic betont die Philosophie der Vereinfachung als Schl\u00fcssel zu mehr Effizienz und Wettbewerbsf\u00e4higkeit, w\u00e4hrend Saft-Manager Herv\u00e9 Amoss\u00e9 die Rolle als Innovationsf\u00fchrer im Bereich Energiespeicherung hervorhebt. IBIS steht somit nicht nur f\u00fcr eine technologische Neuerung, sondern f\u00fcr einen Paradigmenwechsel in der Architektur elektrischer Antriebe.
