Das Design des Coup\u00e9s stammt von Ercole Spada, einem der bedeutendsten italienischen Automobildesigner.\u00a0Das Ergebnis ist ein kompakter Sportwagen mit einer L\u00e4nge von nur 4,09 Metern und einer\u00a0 H\u00f6he von 1,15 Metern, ausgelegt als reiner Zweisitzer. Die Karosserie wurde von der Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera gefertigt. Das Design zitiert klassische Formen der 1950er- und 1960er-Jahre. Typische Merkmale wie verkleidete Scheinwerfer, flie\u00dfende Fl\u00e4chen und die niedrige Dachlinie betonen die Anlehnung an das goldene Zeitalter des italienischen Automobildesigns. Der OSCA 2500 GT Dromos steht auf einem Stahlrohrrahmen, der Leichtigkeit und Steifigkeit kombiniert. Die Vorder- und Hinterachse verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber MacPherson-Federbeine mit unteren Dreieckslenkern, l\u00e4ngs gerichteten Schubstreben und Stabilisatoren an beiden Achsen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als Antrieb w\u00e4hlten die Entwickler einen 2,5-Liter-Vierzylinder-Boxermotor aus dem Subaru Legacy. Das Aggregat leistet 187 PS bei 6000 U\/min und liefert 235 Nm Drehmoment bei 2800 U\/min. Dank eines geringen Leergewichts von nur 780 Kilogramm beschleunigt der Sportwagen in 6 Sekunden von 0 auf 100 km\/h und erreicht eine H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von knapp 250 km\/h. 1999 wurde das Fahrzeug erstmals der \u00d6ffentlichkeit vorgestellt, 2001 folgte eine zweite Pr\u00e4sentation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Geplant war eine Kleinserie von wenigen Hundert Exemplaren, doch das Projekt wurde noch vor Produktionsbeginn eingestellt.
