Technische Basis war ein Pocketbike, dessen 33,6-Kubikzentimeter-Zweitaktmotor 1,7 PS leistete und das Fahrzeug auf bis zu 30 km\/h beschleunigte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Konstruktion folgte funktionalen Prinzipien. Lenker und Antriebseinheit wurden im Koffer untergebracht, w\u00e4hrend die Hinterr\u00e4der au\u00dfen montiert waren. Das Vorderrad lie\u00df sich \u00fcber eine herausnehmbare Frontklappe ausklappen. Der modulare Aufbau erlaubte eine Einsatzbereitschaft in rund einer Minute. Das dreir\u00e4drige Layout erinnert an den Mazda-Go von 1931, w\u00e4hrend der niedrige Schwerpunkt Parallelen zum MX-5 Roadster aufweist. Damit verband Mazda historische DNA mit moderner Ingenieurskunst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Kofferauto ging nat\u00fcrlich nie in Serie, aber aufgrund des gro\u00dfen Medieninteresses entstand je ein Exemplar f\u00fcr Europa und die USA. Das europ\u00e4ische Fahrzeug wurde 1991 auf der IAA in Frankfurt pr\u00e4sentiert, verschwand jedoch sp\u00e4ter.
