Allein, sie m\u00fcssen sich vom Porsche 904 GTS eines Privatfahrers auf die Pl\u00e4tze verweisen lassen.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die \u00dcberlegenheit des Mittelmotorkonzepts ist eindeutig, weshalb man im Sinn einer k\u00fcnftigen Siegf\u00e4higkeit gleichfalls auf dieses Prinzip setzt. Die Ingenieure konstruieren ein komplett neues Fahrzeug inklusive Fahrgestell und neuer Karosserie, \u00fcber dem Motor sind verst\u00e4rkende Streben montiert. Auch das Antriebsaggregat wird \u00fcberarbeitet: das GR8 benannte Triebwerk ist wiederum ein Reihensechszylinder mit knapp zwei Liter Hubraum und einer Leistung von 200 PS. Die Motorabdeckung ist neu, die K\u00fchl\u00f6ffnungen und Luftleitbleche ebenfalls. Zudem steigt die Leistung auf 220 PS. 1967 aber sind die Porsche 906 vorne. F\u00fcr die R380-II bleiben nur die Ehrenpl\u00e4tze.<br>Damit ist ihre Zeit als Werksrennwagen abgelaufen.
