Sein Kampfgewicht liegt bei 400 Kilogramm.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mitte der 1960er Jahre will BMW in den Formelsport. Experimente mit Rennmotoren auf Serienbl\u00f6cken zeigen wenig befriedigende Ergebnisse. Hilfe verspricht der Ingenieur Ludwig Apfelbeck: Er schl\u00e4gt die Konstruktion eines komplett neuen Vierventil-Kopfes vor. Der \u00d6sterreicher hat 1935 ein Patent auf einen Vierventiler erhalten, bei dem sich Ein- und Auslassventile kreuzweise gegen\u00fcber liegen und bei dem gr\u00f6\u00dfere Ventilquerschnitte, eine gleichm\u00e4\u00dfigere K\u00fchlung und ein bis zu 40 Prozent h\u00f6herer Luftdurchsatz entsprechend mehr Leistung bringen. <br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"665\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/1778-6x6-2-seufert-schau-67-1024x665.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-439\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/1778-6x6-2-seufert-schau-67.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/1778-6x6-2-seufert-schau-67-300x195.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/1778-6x6-2-seufert-schau-67-768x499.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\"><strong><em>1967 tr\u00e4gt der Monti noch brave, englisch inspirierte Prototypenkonfektion.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ab 1967 gehen die Bayern zur Europa-Bergmeisterschaft. 280 PS bei 9500 U\/min stemmt der Apfelbeck-Zweiliter des Spiders auf die Kurbelwelle, und das ist mutma\u00dflich mehr Kraft, als Porsche mit dem Achtzylinder-Zweiliter mobilisiert. Die ersten zwei Chassis werden bei Lola in England bestellt und mit einem recht konventionellen Aluminium-Aufbau versehen.
