Auff\u00e4llig sind das weniger extreme Karosseriedesign und das f\u00fcr niedrige Geschwindigkeiten optimierte Aufladungssystem mit zwei Turboladern. Die Rennabteilung von Lancia entwickelte den ECV2, um den Einsatz neuer Verbundwerkstoffe im Rallyesport zu untersuchen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kohlefaser, sogenanntes Honeycomb-Material mit Wabenstruktur sowie spezielle Hartschaumstoffe wurden f\u00fcr die Karosserie und mechanische Komponenten verwendet, darunter Felgen und sogar die Kurbelwelle. Als Ergebnis war der Lancia ECV2 bei gleicher Torsionssteifigkeit mehr als 20 Prozent leichter als Delta S4, mit dem Lancia die Rallye-Weltmeisterschaft 1986 bestritt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Prototyp ist mit einem Vierzylinder-Motor mit einem Hubraum von 1.759 Kubikzentimetern ausger\u00fcstet, der bis zu 600 PS bei 8.000 Umdrehungen pro Minute leistet. Erm\u00f6glicht wird diese hohe Leistung durch ein System mit doppelter Turboaufladung, Ladeluftk\u00fchlung sowie einer experimentellen, modularen Regelung des Ladedrucks.
