{"id":7357,"date":"2023-02-24T08:15:43","date_gmt":"2023-02-24T07:15:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/?p=7357"},"modified":"2023-02-24T08:15:45","modified_gmt":"2023-02-24T07:15:45","slug":"de-tomaso-p70-1967","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/index.php\/2023\/02\/24\/de-tomaso-p70-1967\/","title":{"rendered":"De Tomaso P70 (1967)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Der Mittelmotorrennwagen war ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt des in Italien ans\u00e4ssigen Argentiniers Alejandro de Tomaso und der amerikanischen Rennsportlegende Carroll Shelby, um einen Rennwagen f\u00fcr die damals neue United States Road Racing Championship (USRRC) zu entwickeln, die 1968 zur Can-Am-Serie wurde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Als Basis f\u00fcr den Rennsportwagen diente der erste Strassensportwagen des Argentiniers, der Vallelunga.&nbsp; Das Coup\u00e9 bot mit einem Zentralrohrrahmen, einem tragenden Motor, der in einem hinteren Hilfsrahmen montiert war, Einzelradaufh\u00e4ngungen vorne und hinten, Stabilisatoren vorne und hinten, Scheibenbremsen sowie einer Karosserie aus Fiberglas beste Vorraussetzungen als Basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"810\" height=\"501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Interior-1600x989-1-810x501.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Interior-1600x989-1-810x501.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Interior-1600x989-1-300x186.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Interior-1600x989-1-768x475.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Interior-1600x989-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr den De Tomaso P70 wurde das Chassis zur Aufnahme eines tragendend eingebauten V8-Motor modifiziert und von Peter Brock, der sp\u00e4ter das Shelby Daytona Coupe gestaltete, mit einer Aluminiumkarosserie versehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carroll Shelby wollte, dass der neue Wagen mit einem m\u00f6glichst leichten Sieben-Liter-V8 best\u00fcckt w\u00fcrde und de Tomasos Team wollten daf\u00fcr einen 4,7 Liter-Ford V8 aufbohren. Leider erwies sich dies als unm\u00f6glich, weil der Basis-Motor das technisch nicht hergab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"810\" height=\"499\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Rear-Side-1600x985-1-810x499.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7361\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Rear-Side-1600x985-1-810x499.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Rear-Side-1600x985-1-300x185.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Rear-Side-1600x985-1-768x473.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Shelby-De-Tomaso-P70-Rear-Side-1600x985-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brock ging nach Italien, um den Bau der Karosserie bei der renommierten Carrozzeria Fantuzzi, die schon f\u00fcr Maserati und Ferrari gearbeitet hatte, in Modena zu begleiten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just dann als Peter Brock dabei war, die fertige Karosserie auf das Fahrgestell zu montieren, kam das Aus.
