Ihm wird auch das Design des Lancia Aurelia GT Coup\u00e9s zugeschrieben. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1954 gr\u00fcndete er zusammen mit seinem Sohn Gian Paolo die Carrozzeria Boano in Grugliasco. Das Fahrgestell hatte einen 225 PS starken 341ci-V8-Motor mit Vierfachvergaser sowie ein Viergang-Automatikgetriebe, einer vorderen Einzelradaufh\u00e4ngung mit D\u00e4mpfern und Schraubenfedern, sowie eine blattgefederte Hinterachse und rundum Trommelbremsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;Ein futuristische Coup\u00e9 aus der Feder von<strong> <\/strong>Gian Paolo Boano in leuchtendem Orange war das Ergebnis. Der Entwurf war vom Jet-Zeitalter inspiriert und die Karosserie war extravagant, k\u00fchn und elegant.&nbsp;<strong> <\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trotz der spektakul\u00e4ren Entw\u00fcrfe schlo\u00df Boano die Manufaktur schon nach drei Jahren.&nbsp; Ab 1957 arbeitete Mario Boano unter Dante Giacosa f\u00fcr Fiats Styling-Abteilung und dort entwarf er den Fiat 600 sowie den Simca 1000.
