Mit der Entwicklung des Motors beauftragte Ferruccio Lamborghini einen externen Berater: den legend\u00e4ren Ingenieur Giotto Bizzarrini, geboren in Quercianella (Provinz Livorno) im Jahr 1926. Er wird noch heute als einer der besten Motorenentwickler aller Zeiten angesehen. Bizzarrini war ein gro\u00dfer Motorsport-Fan und tr\u00e4umte davon, einen Motor f\u00fcr die Formel 1 zu entwickeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Vereinbarung mit Lamborghini war einfach und legte den Grundstein f\u00fcr etwas Au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches: zw\u00f6lf Zylinder in V-Form, 3,5 Liter Hubraum und viele, viele Pferdest\u00e4rken: mindestens 350. Als Anreiz f\u00fcr Bizzarrini f\u00fcgte Lamborghini dem Vertrag einen Bonus je zus\u00e4tzlicher zehn Pferdest\u00e4rken hinzu. Als im Juli 1963 der Motor zum ersten Mal auf dem Pr\u00fcfstand lief, waren die Messwerte mit 360 PS bei 9000 U\/min spektakul\u00e4r. Ferruccio Lamborghini beglich seine Schuld, war sich aber auch bewusst, dass er in Schwierigkeiten steckte. Tats\u00e4chlich hatte Bizzarrini einen Motor f\u00fcr die Formel 1 entwickelt, der nicht f\u00fcr den Stra\u00dfenverkehr und eine Serienproduktion geeignet war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"810\" height=\"455\" src=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/614615_v2-810x455.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8380\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/614615_v2-810x455.jpg 810w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/614615_v2-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/614615_v2-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.enzo-und-ferdinand.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/614615_v2.jpg 875w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 810px) 100vw, 810px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lamborghini-Ingenieur Paolo Stanzani wurde dann damit betraut, den Motor zu \u201ekultivieren\u201c. Seine Modifikationen erhielten die au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliche Leistung des Motors, machten ihn aber bei mittleren und niedrigen Drehzahlen fahrbarer. Dabei blieben die technischen Grundmerkmale unver\u00e4ndert, die in vielen Punkten eine absolute Premiere f\u00fcr ein serienm\u00e4\u00dfig produziertes Fahrzeug darstellten. Die H\u00f6chstleistung von 280 PS bei 6500 U\/min reichte aus, um den 350 GT, das erste serienm\u00e4\u00dfige Modell von Lamborghini aus dem Jahr 1964, auf eine H\u00f6chstgeschwindigkeit von \u00fcber 250 km\/h zu treiben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bei seinem Deb\u00fct 1964 wurde der Lamborghini-V12 aufgrund seines Drehmoments, seiner Elastizit\u00e4t, Zuverl\u00e4ssigkeit und Langlebigkeit zum Ma\u00dfstab. Der Motor blieb mit minimalen \u00c4nderungen bis in die 90er-Jahre in Produktion.
