Der Wagen stammt vom Zeichenbrett John Tjaardas, der bei Ghia die Aufgaben von Giorgetto Giugiaro \u00fcbernommen hatte. Es war eines seiner ersten Projekte beim italienischen Designb\u00fcro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In einer Pressemitteilung von Ghia hie\u00df es: &#8222;Ein perfektes Gleichgewicht von \u00c4sthetik, Aerodynamik und Technik war das Ziel der Ghia-Designer bei der Entwicklung dieser neuen Karosserie. Der Wagen war urspr\u00fcnglich mit einem 3,5-Liter-V8-Motor von Massimino ausgestattet, der jedoch 1969 durch einen Alf-Francis-M-167-Motor ersetzt wurde. Der hat zwei oben liegende Nockenwellen und drei Ventile pro Zylinder (zwei Einlass- und ein Auslassventil), eine Marelli-Einzelz\u00fcndung und Trockensumpfschmierung.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Er hat den gleichen Hubraum wie der Massimino-Motor, vier Weber 40 DCN14-Vergaser und leistet 320 PS bei 7.500 U\/min. Das F\u00fcnfgang-Getriebe mit Sperrdifferential stammt von Serenissima.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Das Coup\u00e9 mit versenkbaren Scheinwerfern verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen vorderen Kofferraum, im Innenraum befinden sich zwei Schalensitze und das Armaturenbrett ist sportwagentypisch mit einer Vielzahl von Anzeigen und Instrumenten ausgestattet. Der Schalthebel sitzt in einer offenen Kulisse und verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen ersten Gang mit Klauenschaltung sowie eine Sperre f\u00fcr den R\u00fcckw\u00e4rtsgang.
